Nature and scope of processing

When this website is accessed, technically necessary connection and log data are processed. This may include, in particular, IP address, date and time of access, requested resources, browser/device information and server log data.

If you enter a URL or HTML source code into the tool, those inputs are processed server-side in order to perform the analysis you explicitly requested. The entered URL may be fetched by the server so that publicly accessible HTML content can be technically evaluated.

Purposes and legal bases

Processing is carried out to provide, secure, stabilise and troubleshoot the website, to prevent abuse, and to perform the technical analysis you requested. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and functional operation) and, where the specific use of the tool is concerned, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Recipients

Personal data may be disclosed to hosting, server, CDN or other infrastructure providers to the extent technically necessary for operating this website. Data are not disclosed for advertising or profiling purposes.

Storage period

Personal data are stored only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or where statutory retention obligations apply. Server log data are generally retained only for a limited period and are then deleted or anonymised.

Cookies, local storage and third-party content

At present, this website does not use non-essential cookies and the start page does not load remote webfonts or other third-party resources. The language switch of the tool is not stored permanently in the browser. If consent-based technologies are introduced in the future, this privacy notice will be updated and any required consent will be obtained.

International transfers

The start page is currently not designed to transfer personal data to third-party providers outside the EU/EEA on a routine basis. If individual hosting or infrastructure providers are located in third countries or use sub-processors there, processing will take place only subject to the applicable data protection requirements.

Data subject rights

Under the GDPR, you generally have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR.

Right to lodge a complaint

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
